Final 2013 Issue

8 years ago our Elders shared with us that to take on the task of Purelements we should remember that "It takes a village".

With great humility we adopted this understanding into the very framework of what we wanted our Organization to be about.

We understand that without you, NONE of this is possible.

We proudly do this work as we believe in our community and its members.

We value ALL of you and look to do even more great work with and for you as 2014 roles into position. We continue on the path of our Mission and pray that you will continue to support us along the way.

With Your Support!

Purelements Fall Family Fete!
After seven years we finally attempted and succeeded at doing our first official Fundraiser. Right in the heart of Brownsville at PS 156 Waverly school of the Arts.

With the help of our parent volunteers and community supporters we were able to raise $7,000! We also received a very special visit from one of our newest council people Ms. Laurie Cumbo from the 35th District.

Twin Towers!
We also welcomed into the world two of our newest Purelements babies. Tajdar Johnson and Osaze Worrell.
Ms.Tricia Greenidge and Mrs. Shani Worrell brought these two mini giants into the world safe and sound.

We are honored to be their caretakers.

We hope that you find a bit of enjoyment after reading about a few of our 2013 accomplishments. We spend a great deal of time working on a number of projects and don’t always get to share all of what is going on with us. We are looking forward to sharing much more with you as we move into the coming year.

Until then
